Step 1: Uninstall

  1. Shut down Sage 50

  8. Press Windows + R
  9. Enter“C:\”
  10. Click OK
  11. If you find pvswand pvswarch folders, delete them
  12. File names like PSQL_v##_Install.logshould be deleted. The ## is the version number in this case
  13. Browse to C:\Windows
  14. Delete log
  15. Go to C:\ProgramData
  16. Rename Pervasive Software folder and make it OldPervasive Software
  17. Browse to C:\Program Filesor C:\Program Files (x86)
  18. Rename Pervasive Software folder and make it OldPervasive Software
  19. Browse to C:\Program Files\Common Files or C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files
  20. Rename Pervasive Software Sharedand make it OldPervasive Software Shared
  21. Exit from the window/windows opened
  22. Press Windows + R
  23. Enter regedit
  24. Press OK
  25. Right-click on Computer
  26. Choose Export
  27. Save the Registry backup
  28. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Softwareon the left side
  29. You will find Pervasive software andPEYX489ZK
  30. Delete them
  31. If you have 64-bit systems, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node
  32. You will find Pervasive software andPEYX489ZK
  33. Delete them
  34. Close the Registry Editor

Step 2: Reinstall

  1. Go to the installation folder i.e. C:\Sage\Sage50_[version]
  2. Open PervasiveMin folder
  3. Run msi
  4. Click Next
  5. Tick the license agreement for acceptance
  6. Click Next
  7. Choose Run as a service
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Complete
  10. Click Next
  11. Choose Installfor reinstallation
  12. Click Finishonce the process completes
  13. Check if the installation is properly done
