Step 1: Install the QuickBooks Tool Hub by Downloading it

The QuickBooks Tool Hub assists in correcting frequent mistakes. We advise utilising Tool Hub on Windows 10, 64-bit, for the optimal user experience.

  1. Shut down QuickBooks.
  2. We advise you to download QuickBooks Tool Hub’s most recent version (1.6.0.1). Save the document in a location that is simple to find (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). Note: You can determine which version of Tool Hub you have if you’ve already installed it. Choosing the Home tab. The version will be shown in the lower right corner, or you can choose About to view it.
  3. To install and accept the terms and conditions, adhere to the on-screen instructions.
  4. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to launch the tool hub after the installation is complete.

Note: If you can’t find the icon, search for QuickBooks Tool Hub on Windows and choose the app.

Step 2: Make use of the resources in the QuickBooks Tool Hub

The hub serves as a starting point for the tools you’ll utilise to solve your problem. There are tools for various problem types under each tab:

  1. If you receive an error notice when you access your company file or have missing or blank lists, choose Company File Issues. The Quick Fix My File and QuickBooks File Doctor tools will be launched as a result. Choose File Dr Help from the corporate file tab if you require additional assistance.
  2. If you experience issues with your network or PCs connected via a network, such as error H202, choose Network Issues. Your server machine must be active.
